Privacy Policy for Kakeibo

Last updated: August 2026

Kakeibo ("the app") is a personal budgeting app. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and how you can control it.

Information we collect

Kakeibo collects only what's needed to run your account and store your budget data:

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any device identifiers beyond what's strictly required for authentication.

How your information is used

Your data is used solely to provide the app's core functionality — displaying your budget, calculating your spending insights, and syncing your data across devices where you're signed in. We do not use your data for advertising, and the app contains no ad networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking tools of any kind.

How your information is stored

Account and budget data is stored using Supabase, a third-party backend service that provides authentication and database hosting. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your controls

You're in full control of your data:

Children's privacy

Kakeibo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
